Jesus said: “God’s Spirit has chosen me to preach the Message of good news .. . announce pardon to prisoners . . . recovery of sight to the blind and set the burdened and battered free.” Luke 4:14-22

Jesus also said He expects His followers to do the same things He did . . . and this is how we LiveReady. Now it’s not realistic that we do all these things individually. There aren’t enough hours in the day. But we can do them together. And that’s where the church comes in. We can feed the hungry, proclaim the gospel, and encourage the discouraged . . . together.
