Each of us is being invited by God to both believe and belong.
Believing is important. Jesus said repent and believe the good news. (Mark 1:15) But belonging is important too. Paul said: “You are now members of God’s household with other Christians”. (Ephesians 2:19)
Jesus died on the cross making it possible for us to both believe and belong. Why is it important to belong? Because none of us can fulfill God’s purpose by ourselves.
