The Apostle James made a rather bold statement: Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. (James 4:17) I like Eugene Peterson’s translation of the verse: “God-talk without God – acts is outrageous nonsense”.
Did you know that when a person puts their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior that Jesus not only saves them from something but He saves them to something? Once saved we are to work for biblical, restorative justice, to help the down and out. To stand up for the homeless. To support the defenseless. (Isaiah 1:16-17).
