EASY SOLUTIONS TO EVERYDAY PROBLEMS

Every week or so I've been posting practical ideas from a used book I purchased at our local thrift store.

Today I'm happy to share two more ideas to improve your summer fishing.

LOOKING FOR WORMS?
"If you're getting ready for a big fishing trip by looking for bait in your backyard, begin by soaking an entire newspaper with water, then spreading it out in one hunk in your garden or on your lawn. Lift it up in the early morning, and loads of worms will be underneath. To keep your worms alive until it's time to use them, store them in a can with soil and coffee grounds."

GONE FISHING
"If you use a hollow plastic tub jig on your fishing line, slip a small piece of Alka-Seltzer or denture cleaner inside before tossing it into the water. It will release a string of bubbles that will attract fish.

Aren't these ideas great?"

Anyway, look for more "Easy Solutions" on this blog next week.
