BOTH COULD BE RIGHT?

In preparation for the upcoming election, I am studying Jeb Bush's book "Immigration Wars: Forging an American solution."

   DAY FOUR

"Both sides are responsible for the impasse."

"Some on the Left push for open borders as a matter of justice. They excuse those who came here illegally and decry efforts to enforce the rule of law. On the right, immigration opponents see hordes of illegal immigrants taking jobs away from Americans who desperately need them and consuming social services whose costs are born by overburdened taxpayers."

Who is right?

Is it possible that both could be right?
