BENEFIT OR THREAT?

In preparation for the upcoming election, I am studying Jeb Bush's book "Immigration Wars: Forging an American solution."





  DAY FIVE   "We believe comprehensive reform should be constructed upon two core, essential values; first, that immigration is essential to our nation, and second, that immigration policy must be governed by the rule of law".

A 2012 survey found that 55 percent of Americans view immigration as an economic benefit, while only 33 percent believe it is an economic threat".

Does that surprise you?
