In the Bible we find this statement: “It is appointed unto man once to die . . . Yes. I suppose that is an appointment all of us will keep. In other words, the mortality rate here in Central PA is still one out of every one.
The good news is that we can get ready, stay ready, live ready for whatever awaits us. Steven Covey, in his classic book on personal management, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, writes: "Effective people live with the end in mind." How different our lives are when we live this way.
