IT'S WORTH A LOOK

We are living and ministering the gospel in the context of a "new reality". 

I've been talking with my friends about this for several years. This book both describes the new reality and gives some suggestions as to how to address them. The six trends of decline are:

1. INFLATED - (evangelicals are not as strong numerically and financially as we once thought)
2. HATED - (there are new external forces working against us)
3. DIVIDING - (we are not working together)
4. BANKRUPT - (giving is down)
5. BLEEDING - (volunteers are leaving)
6. SPUTTERING - (we're not making disciples)

The second half of the book is a hope filled treatment of how we can prepare ourselves for an effective and productive future.
