A PLACE WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME

Remember the song “making your may in the world today takes everything you’ve got…. sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name.” This song expresses well the importance of living in a community of meaningful relational connections. It’s also a fitting description of the Stillnaz Café, where conversation and connections take place each week.

WELCOMING ATMOSPHERE

“Although the Stillnaz café is a gathering place with refreshments, our aspiration is for the food and drink to be secondary to the welcoming atmosphere, not only for our Stillmeadow family but especially for visitors. It has proven to be a relaxing place where people are at liberty to engage in meaningful, encouraging conversation.”           Larry Copenheaver

RECENT RENOVATION

You may have noticed the café has recently been renovated with a comfortable seating arrangement to view additional closed circuit TV (still to be installed), pub tables & chairs, bench cushions plus side tables, and a fireplace. Renovation began in February of this year and was largely completed this month. Refreshments are now provided at no charge but donations are appreciated.

POINT OF CONTACT

Larry Copenheaver coordinates menu selections along with the purchasing of supplies. He also schedules and encourages the team of committed volunteers. Please take a minute to view the video invitation from Larry at the top of this page.

RELATIONAL CONNECTIONS

In his sermon earlier this month, Pastor Bud offered this challenge to the Stillnaz family:

“More than anywhere else, when we gather at church our practice of hospitality should reflect God’s gracious welcome. We are all guests of God’s grace, and I encourage all of you to spend time in the Stillnaz café as a gracious host, especially to our visitors.”

(Pastor Dianne will be in the Café this Sunday. Feel free to stop by to express your appreciation for her faithful service to our children and their families)
