CONNECTION THROUGH BIBLICAL HOSPITALITY

Sermon for June 12, 2016

In my sermon tomorrow, we will continue to look carefully at the Scriptures, both Old and New Testament, about Biblical hospitality.
The Bible tells us what to do - but it doesn’t clearly explain how to do it. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, each generation needs to determine what biblical hospitality should look like at that time and in that context.

Since we so clearly identify with John Wesley, both theologically and missionally, I thought it would be appropriate for us to see how Wesley, this great preacher, social reformer and church leader practiced biblical hospitality 300 years ago in Great Britain. Also, how that same method was used in our country by Francis Asbury, and how these methods swept the world and became a movement.

If you are in the York, PA area, please consider this an invitation to join us!
