As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us, “they said, what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
In my sermon today, we will look at how Jesus answered His disciples. God's word provides these basics:
1. Jesus Is Coming Again (Matthew 25:10)
2. We Don’t Know When (Matthew 24:36)
3. We Must Be Ready (Matthew 24:44)And we also know that these events will surround His Return
1. Cosmic phenomena will occur. (Matthew 24:29)
2. Christ will come in great power and great glory (Matthew 24:30)
3. Christ will gather His followers (Matthew 24:31)
4. Unbelievers will mourn, for they are not ready (Matthew 24:30)
5. Christ will judge the nations and establish His kingdom (Matthew 25:32-33)
