In my sermon, for the next several weeks right up to Advent, we are going to look carefully at what the Bible reveals about salvation . . . 

What is it?  What are we saved from?  Why is salvation from one’s sins such a big deal?  And by the way, why would the Father go to all this trouble just to save us from our sins? 

Actually, we will look at ten reasons why Jesus wants to save us from our sins. Not only does Jesus want to save us; the good news is He has provided a way for each of us to get out of the sinning business! (The Message of Holiness)
