We’ve been talking a lot recently about following Jesus. At Stillmeadow, we prepare people to follow Jesus in the Wesleyan-Holiness way.
Fact. To follow Jesus is to live a missionary life. Why? Jesus was one . . . a missionary that is.
A missionary is one who is sent. Jesus was sent. Check out the gospel of John 20:21 – “As the Father has sent me, so send I you.” Pretty clear, don’t you think? Jesus knew He was sent by the Father . . . into the world . . . “to seek and to save what was lost.” (Luke 19:10)
So, you want to be like Jesus do ya? Then you must embrace the truth that like Him, you have been sent too. Some of us are sent across the street . . . some across the world. But Christ-followers are sent people make no mistake about that.
The Sent One and His sent ones. That’s who we are.
