WORLD'S MOST OPEN COUNTRY?


Continuing our discussion on immigration.



We have for many years attracted a vastly disproportionate share of the world's greatest scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs. Indeed more than one quarter of all US scientists and engineers foreign-born. Some argue that our nation's biggest competitive advantage in the world has been its status over the last century as the world's most open country.
