So let's talk about our birth rate. It is perhaps more essential than at any previous time in American history that we bring in adequate numbers of young, energetic, hardworking, and talented immigrants.
As in other industrialized nations, America's birth rate has fallen below the level needed to replace the current population. That phenomena is placing enormous strains on our social welfare system, as fewer and fewer workers are sustaining an ever-expanding elderly beneficiary population.
