IMMIGRATION PRESSURES

Interesting observations from the book "Globalization for Development"

"In the coming decades, the number of potential immigrants is likely to swell, driven by a rising number of young adults living in low income countries and increases in income that will allow more people than ever to afford the costs of immigration. If policies in recipient countries remain unchanged, rising immigration pressures will place greater strains on traditional methods of border protection."

Thoughts?
